Life is to Enjoy

This dialogue applies to me(?) and my God Superstar Rajinikath . I really mean the second one. All this time I took a break to review My God's movie ( and of course I was addicted a virus called work). I really didnot want to exaggerate the movie Chandramukhi at its starting point. Because I had quite a few friends at office and near home talking against CM before it's release. I always said to myself "God never fails". Here I am commenting after 50 days of successful running of the movie CM all over the world. Really a great stuff that was expected out of a real Rajini fan. No cigar, not much of punch dialogues, not much of "looking at audiance" dialogues. wow...... just was really amazed to see "Actor" Rajinikanth back in full swing. I saw the movie 3 times. First day first show, next week Sunday and the next Saturday. 3 times in 3 weeks (very less when compared to other Rajini Bhakthas . Its time for party for all Rajini fans. I need not say any...

Went for this movie yesterday. Really good one till climax. Climax is the worst part of this movie. It was too long and i couldnt resist coming out. I came out and to my surprise I found many people following me. The first half of the movie is really worth watching. After a very long time (I mean it) there is a movie that is a total family entertainer. Absolutely no vulgarity in the movie. Strength: Comedy by both Surya and Sathyan and dialogues (all too comic) Weakness: Climax (I wish no climax is needed for this movie) :-)

Rajnikanth has proved once again that he is the biggest brand in Tamil films with the successful audio launch of Chandramukhi. His detractors who had been shouting from the roof-top that the superstar charishma and pull has diminished were shocked by the kind of adultation the actor received at the Chandramukhi audio launch. At Chenna's Ritchie Street the wholesale market for electronic goods, shops that deal in audio cassettes opened at 6 am on Saturday (March 5) as agents took delivery of the audio. Says Sanjay Wadhwa of AnAK Audios who are marketing the Chandramukhi audio: “Ata time when audio market is at an all time low, the kind of reception that we got is overwhelming. We had manufactures only 1,50,000 cassettes and 30,000 CD’s, but by Sunday evening all the dealers wanted more stock by Monday!" It is obvious that the audio is selling like hot cakes on the brand equity of Rajnikanth. At Chennai’s Music World 437 cassettes and 227 CD’s were sold on the first day! Compare...

Time for some celebration and relaxation(If you are wondering why, just read the blog below). Went for the film JI today. Atlast the film is released. A fully hyped and was the so called potentially a BREAK for Ajith. Personally I would say it is not so. I would definitely rate this a step ahead than Thiruppachi. Finally we could also see that Ajith has also interest in politics. A story which says that students can involve in politics(of course, Ajith is a college student in the film!!!!). I could feel that if this film was released before Ayutha Eluthu, it would have been a block buster for sure. A treat for Ajith fans overall but it cannot survive under the public. Positives: No lengthy and punch dialogues for Ajith. A big break for Charanraj (Villan). Negatives: No comedy and no hit songs.

Well if its sounding like a new tamil movie name, then I should be the hero(greatest PJ you would have ever heard). Yes it was one of the most memorable days in my life. I just became a(n) SCJP. Please do not ask how I managed. Somehow I managed. All God's grace i would say. I was a Just pass!!!!. It requires 52 % to pass and guess how much I scored? 54!!!!! :-). Really happy was I. Expect a movie review soon here.

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

Long time since I blogged. The words by my machan(freind pa) Venki surrounds me always. He says "You are consistent in being inconsistent". Well he meant it. Atleast it is a relief to all Rajini fans (oops, sorry bhakthas) today. They are getting to watch Padayappa again!!!! Its Sun TV's bonanza for this pongal!!!!! By the way HAPPY PONGAL to all who read this..... :-) ahaaaa.... illai illai.... "Thamizhar Thirunaal Vaazhthukkal". What time is it? oops its already 12:00 noon. I have to prepare for watching every frame of the movie.... "En Vazhi.... Thani Vazhi.... ".
