A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag.
Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday.

Saturday:
We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt.

Sunday:
It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed.

Monday:
This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere near it). There is only a Potanical (or Botanical?) garden and a museum there. Thats all. The other place is called Borra Gohalu. Its a place carved in caves. We have lord shiva inside the cave. But the real thrill is to go thru the way and reach inside. huh... it takes around 30 mins to cover this and I bet you will take 1 hour because the way you go will make you to stay and watch its beauty.

Tuesday:
This was an ultimate day for a boat ride inside the shipping areas. Not everyone can get that boat ride. My uncle is a Nayman. He used his power to take us this boat ride. We went near the ship building yard, the unloading place of all the goods. The ride was really a gr8 one. Words dont flow to explain the thrill I had(english la week pa... :-))
Lots more exciting stuff coming up soon.... By the way Republic day wishes to all. :-)

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".
