Fire Accident!!!!

I felt very sad when I heard about the fire accident that happened in KUMBAKONAM school. That was really a worse, if not the worst, accident I have heard in my life. We have lost 80+ future pillars of our country. This cannot happen anymore. I just could not bear the scenes I saw on television. I just cant explain these things in words. These emotions cant be expressed in words. I pray God for those little kids' soul to rest in peace.

Amidst all such tensions and emotions, I just spotted that Sun TV played a little politics out of this incident. This TV just listed all the major fire accidents that happened from 2002 till date, meaning the fire accidents in the current Government's period. I mean these politicians never seem to understand the public's feeling on this incident. They are very much concerned about their vote bank even in this very sad incident.

The structure of that school very much resembled my school in Pondicherry, SDA HSS. Even that school had a roof top in the fifth floor!!!. Ya you read that right, its till the fifth floor. When I studied, the higher floor had smaller class students. Which means elders are in lower floors and the young students in the top floor. My mom just remembered the scene of me going to school and just told me that "Thank God no such incident happened in your school".

After this incident the security of their children will be the top priority for all parents. We have disaster recovery plan for all the companies/industries. The Government should also seriously consider of having such plans for schools/colleges and for that matter all public places. If the Government alredy has such plans in papers, then it should be taken care that it is implemented properly. Its a very sad day for Tamilnadu and for whole of India.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
