Virus Attack!!!!!

All of us might have have heard about the virus attack that happend to a software giant's network last tuesday. Since that was a public ltd company, this was made as a public news. But, the media took this news as a tool for making thier business run better....

A local tamil daily here made jokes out of this matter. And the hieght of comedy on this matter was that when it was discussed in a private FM radio which I was fortunate(or rather unfortunate?) to hear. They had an SMS contest based on this matter by asking people about how would they avoid virus attacks in their computers. The choices given were.... (really freaky)

1) Make ceremonies to God and prevent it. (in tamil, "Mandhirichi Vibuthi Kungumam Poosuvingala?")
2) Will u feed antibiotics thru injection
3) Will u spray pesticides over your computer....(amazed???, well i was)

As far as they are concerned, they are finding the funny part and thats fine. But, this should be done when such major attacks are not happening. This is just unfair from my part. See, even this topic has caught my blog.(I was searching for a topic badly). Anyways, the conclusion drawn could be that if u are a public figure, u are bound to have such problems. Afterall, "Life is to enjoy" for all. So, all comments are taken positively. But the media has to also take care that they lie within their limits is what my feeling is.

I would surely spray pesticides ;-). Just kidding. Sure FM channels have brought the charm back to radios. But i really miss the mornings with "Radio" now

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
