What I hate here

There are quite a few things I hate here. Some of them are listed below. May not make sense to all, but I hate it.

1. Waiting for or giving way to Ladies while crossing road, going in elevator, etc... etc... Where is the equality here? Its all dying to my knowledge.

2. When there is a meeting to discuss on work related matter, a lot of discussion on personal life of each person happen before the actual discussion start. About 40% of meeting time is lost due to this.

3. There are quite a few Indians trying to intrude your privacy by asking you questions on whether you have interest in a part time job. Its terribly bad to my liking.

I can go on and on and on.... lemme put a break here...

Comments

2 and 3 I have witnessed a lot here..and I too dont like them either...but 1 I am not sure...becos I feel that Women's are given full respect here in US...I would go to the extent of saying that Women are not considered as different than Men et all...Here women enjoy so much of freedom but back in India its not like so...So I feel that equality is in practice here but only in preaching in India...
Point 1, as I already posted, may not make sense to all. I hate giving way to women and standing aside, especially when another woman who comes late and peeps in. One occasion I have missed 2 lifts to accomodate this silly ceremony/following whatever.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
