Updates

Infosys wrapped up the 3 match series with CTS at 3-0. It was a clean sweep with very little hurdle. Proud to be a part of such team.

Congrats to team India for winning an away series. Could have done better by making it 2-0. Please learn from us ;-)

Got a new profession as a fallback option if there is a slowdown in IT. I was officially inducted as a DJ for a very small function consisting of 40 odd people. I am happy that it came through well and had both positive and negative feedback on it. Considering my novice and limted knowledge, I rate myself at 65% for that work.

Sivaji is doing really good in box office and I am happy to hear more and more good news on that film. Thalaivaa nee eppothum kalakkitte thaan iruppa.

On seeing our super performance in Cricket, we have planned out a quadrangular series between the software giants that work out of Pittsburgh. Infy, CTS, TCS and Sathyam will battle it out and will determine who is the best out of business :-) Lot of hard work over next 3 weeks.

Those who really follow my blog, thanks once again and please be patient on my next posting.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
