Team outing to Queensland

It is always good to go outing with your close friends. But if the team with whom you work become your best friends, then its time to enjoy with them also. After a lots of hiccups, my team finally agreed to an outing to Queensland - A theme park in the outskirts of Chennai in the Bangalore-Chennai Highway.

There was a 'Youth Factor' (I will reserve the meaning of this word to my team and myself) that was a part of our team always which kept us going (boring?) always whenever the sun was blazing on us mercilessly. We tried and covered almost all possible rides available there.

The happiest part of the outing was a last minute dropout of one person whom we always had an issue with. Orey friction thaan pa with that person for each and everyone who made it to the outing. Any way God was with our side to make sure that person didnt make it. No prizes for guessing who that is.

On a closing note, I would say that 'Youth Factor' was the talk of out team throught the outing. This posting may not make sense to many of you who read but it is a special posting for my teammates who had always been by my side when situations were too difficult for me (Avangalaala enakku narayya velai nadakkanum, Athaan ivvlo ICE ;-) ). Overall it was one of the most exciting days of my life and it will be remembered at least as long as 'Youth Factor' remains in the whole of our team.

Now, the post is incomplete without mentioning about the 'Youth Factor' in detail and also a separate blog has to be written about the 'person' who didn't make it to the trip :-)
Well team mate, it would take a lot for me to post on the 'person' and 'Youth Factor'. Lemme see if i can at least in the coming weeks.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
