My first Novel reading experience

Well all people who know me personally will also know that I hate reading books. But circumstances pulled me to read a book called "The Da Vinci Code". The urge for reading it came because of the controversies surrounding the film and most of my friends who read the book said, it is better to read that book and watch the movie. So I thought why dont we give a try. I was so very seriously involved in the book that I had to bear with the following comments from various people.

1. "Dey enna da book lam kaila? Enna examaa?"
2. "Intha maari olunga unnoda MS ku padichirunthaa exam paas aayirukkalam"
3. "Enda nethu cricket kooda paakaama appdi enna da book padikkara? Score kooda theriyaatha?"
4. "Enna machi, Peter gang la sera poriya?"
5. "English vocabulary improve panna solli office la sonnagala?"
6. "Oh intha booka ippa thaan padikriya? Too late"

Just think from my position. There is a big group around me to enquire why I changed my attitute. Hmmm oruthan kettu ponalum thappu, thirunthinaalum thappu. Enna olagam da ithu. Sathyama inime book padichaa yaarukkum theriyama oru room la thaan padikkanum. Please dont expect a review on that book from me. Naan atha padichi purinjikka patta kashtam enakku thaan theriyum ;-)

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
