A posting from my Native

I wanted to do a posting from my native. At last my dream (or rather a wish?) came true today. Once this city was void of internet browsing centres and there used to be only one or two near the bus stands and railway junction. Without boring much, I will tell you the city I am in now. Its Trichy!!!

It has off late devoped very much and I am posting this just 30 feets from my aunt's home. I happened to come here as we had planned to go and get darshan from Lord Muruga from Palani and on the way back, just pip into my aunt's home in Trichy. I just enquired my cousin if we had any browsing centre near by at all. He was fuming at me hardly "Itho thirumbina vodane oru kadai irukku. Enna nanachittu irukkinga unga manasula. Trichy narayya munneriduchu". He is right. I didnt realize that. I had been thinking about this city the same as I when last visited here by April 2005 (just after watching our Thalaivar's Chandramukhi).

I had a nice break from the routine Chennai life these two days but really tired because of long journey. Wake up Sriram. Saaku pokku sollama naalakki office pora vazhiya paaru. ;-)

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
