Parental Guidance

No No. This topic is no way related to a movie banner or something else. I just wanted to share all the guidance i got in my life from my parents and of course share a general opinion on parents and their expectations on children. This is one of the really tough topics to discuss in a real life scenario. I say this because, the base for any person to come into this world is his/her parents.

Many top people always say that their success is primarily due to the suppourt from parents. They are 100% true in my view. A simple example, which every one of us would have undergone is here. We have crossed the stage of class 10th and 12th in our life(I guess most of u would have ;-) ). Those are really critical period in a person's life to build his career. We hear from many top rank holders about how long they study in nights upto say 10 or 12. But WHO is the person that puts coffee for the child and keeps it besides to make him/her study?

In my case, I am an early morning study preferer. Beleive me, my mom used to wake up with me at 4:00 AM in the morning during my 10th and 12th stds and make me coffee. This just shows they are more concerned on us. I hate people claiming that it was purely their hard work that brought them up in their life. It is a HUMBUG(or HUMBUK?) statement. Moreover one can feel that the parents are more anxious than are the children in their results and performance.

The main work done by parents of people who are successful is that they provide a good health and also they make sure their child has a good friendship circle. What else does a successful person need in his life? A) Health and B) good friends. Of course, it is also important to have a good attitude in life. I guess attitude will naturally cultivate and grow properly if the above mentioned qualities are met. (correct me if wrong)

I can still remember a maths sum which my dad taught me when i was in my 6th standard during which i was very weak in maths (am i strong now? hmmm no way). I was taught with a very big beating from him. He tried all his best to teach me the LCM of two numbers. His hardwork on me paid, and i learnt it very well to get 96 marks in that examination at that time. Parents are living GODS for each and every person. Let us not leave them behind at any point of time in our lives.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
