Secret of Success

Well this is one of the most interesting topic i wanted to blog and share with you all. This is the reality behing my success (this word is restricted to my getting of bachlor's degree and nothing more at this point of time). So what was the real secret behind my pasing of BE successfully especially when some tougher subjects came along from 5th semester?

As i have mentioned in my previous posting below(who gave the idea to blog), it was from the 5th sem that me and venkatachalam (hereafter will be referred as venki in my future blogs) were doing combine study consistantly during our end semester exams although we were of different departments.

We refer to our friends about our study time as 4 to 6. Usally each of our friends would assume it as though we would study from 4 P.M. on the day an exam ends and till 6 AM on the day of the next exam. But actually the reality is different. We would start the study only at 8:30 PM in the evening. hardly it would have moved to 15 minutes, Venki's Mother would provide us with some snacks.

The time we spend over the snacks would cost us about 1.5 Hours. so usually we realize that time would have run and was 10:30 PM already. So, we take books seriously and study for say another half an hour and guess what, Aunty will give us fresh tea in flask. Tell me how many of us could miss a fresh tea? The result? We would have a tea party and what else?

As though we had a big session of studying, we would go to bed at 12:30 AM itself. Then while sleeping both of us tell to each other "Machi, kaalela 3:30 manikki alarm vai da. narayya padikkanum." (Meaning: dude, keep alarm at 3:30 AM cos we have a lot to cover).

Finally when the alarm rings, we would get up with a big fear. bcos its the day of exam. It will be a sincere session of 2 hours i.e. from 4 AM to 6 AM. This will be our sincere preparation time. I am not writing this to make all of you feel happy by reading this. But this is a real fact and happened in our lives.

PS: We never touch books till we reach exams. So dont think that these people would have covered syllabus while going to college on non exam days.

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
