Mad cold

When I was seeing films taken in hilly area with a lot of snow around back in India I was wondering how great it would be to have my lifetime spent entirely in such a location. I repent for what I felt. It just looks great. Feels good for few days, may be few weeks. Nothing more than 5 weeks. I really had to pen down my first snow experience. Since I am gonna (tho paarra, American stylu) talk bad and good about cold weather, I know I will get hit from my friends who are (un)lucky enough to experience it.

First bad thing is your nose will start bleeding if you are prone to some sort of allergy. I am not sure on what allergy it is. Not everyone bleeds, but if you bleed it makes you scared a lot (Manmathan padathula Chimbu mookula ratham vanthaa maari irukkum). I had that bad experience.

Second bad thing is you cant go out of home just like that even for taking paper or cross the road to go to other building. You will have to cover yourself up with a coat, ensure shoes are proper and you protect your ears. If you fail to do any one of these, you will repent for it atleast for the next 1 hour.

Third bad thing is waking up in the morning. You feel so damn sleepy (nejamma... kalaila enda ezhunthkkarom nu irukkum) that you want all days holidays.

And now for the good things. Usually in exams we used to write good things first and then bad things about any concept asked but i am reversing it here as bad things last in my memory and affects me more than the good ones.

First - Photos. Plenty of photos can be taken in different angles. You can admire the nature's gift of snow and its beauty.

Second - skiing. This is one thing I could have never imagined experiencing in Chennai. It was a real fun and exciting experience I had. Its a once in a lifetime chance and I am happy that I didnt miss it.

Third - The same thing as bad but in an opposite way. You get a good sleep over the weekends and the days you need not work. Its an amazing sleep one has to get in life. On a cold Saturday the day began for me at 12:30 or 1:00 PM. You can easily manage to sleep 12 hours without any hinderance. (Itha maari Chennai layum thoongalame solringala? athuvum sari thaan anaa izhuthu pothikkitu thoongara sugame thani).

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
