Where was I so long? Why no blog?

I have been asked several questions like "What happened to you?", "Are you too busy to blog?" from my usual set of friends (to be frank just 3 of them). I just had one truth to tell them "I have plenty of things to share and if I start sharing everything, my time would be lost in blogging fully". Thats true. Its long since I wrote a blog and here I am trying to re-vamp with the upgraded Google blogging. I was out of blogging for some time now that I didnt realize that there are quite a few upgrades.

Any ways. From my side the most memorable thing that has happened is my trip to west coast of USA with my 2 Ambattur cricket gang folks. It was a really pleasant 4 day trip, a little tiring but not so much as meeting them made it easier. A lot was discussed as we met almost after 3 years. Past, present and future, some advices, some experiences, sorrow and joy. Anyone of you who had experienced a meeting with your friend after a big break can understand this. Words just cant explain the ground reality.

Pressure both at work and personal life kept me busy for almost 3 months. I am now out of those pressures. As relieved as a prisoner getting freed. All those 3 months I had to listen to ARR's New York Nagaram. Boy thats a music that made sure I didnt get mad out of pressure. Back to normal life as happy as ever. Learnt to cook a lot of different dishes now. Not to mention a little plan in the back of my mind to start a mess when I return back to India. Learnt to speak in English fluently, with little (infact more) American accent.

And finally the happiest part is Cricket world cup. Plenty of matches. Plenty of action. With the help of internet, its ensured that I am not missing out the action. I hope for an Indian victory cheering from a place where no one hears or acknowledges the theme of the game. But nothing can stop me from cheering team India.

GO INDIA GO!!!!!!!!

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
