Team outing to Kuttralam and Kanyakumari - 1

As a part of my onsite trip treat (vera vazhiye illa treat kudukkalanna my team will not work properly when I go onsite), we as a team went to Kuttralam and Kanyakumari. I dont say that the whole expense of the trip was borne by me (kaasu avvlo irunthaa naan yen vela senji pozhakkanum). Hence dont come back to me asking that you have given a big treat to your team and why dont you give me at least a small treat. Ethuvaa irunthaalum phone pannunga, illa mail adinga... thayavu seithu comment eluthi treat kettu maanatha vaangathinga. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

Friday 9th June was the date when we started to Tirunelveli by Kanyakumari express. 5:30 PM was the time it starts at Egmore. Half of the team was boarding in Egmore and half at Tambaram. I was in the later half. Its time to introduce my team members in this blog as some of the experiences will involve them also. There are totally 11 people and only 9 of us made it to the trip. I will list them. Here we go...

1. Balasubramaniam (Bala) - The photographer
2. Vijayalakshmi (Viji) - The cheer leader
3. Vijay Kumar - Any time commentator
4. Amjath
5. Indu
6. Sathya
7. Ashok
8. Bhavesh - Silent but powerful cracker of jokes

Romba yosikkathinga why only 8 are listed. As I said, I also made to the trip :-). Train trip as you would imagine was good when you have plenty of people around you. After a good session of arattai, it was almost midnight when we forced ourselves to sleep. At 4:45 AM on Saturday, we reached Thirunelveli where we had arranged for a van to pick us to Kuttralam. I had arranged for a van and that person told that he will hold a board hosting my name in it. Atha nambi naanum ellar kittayum otta vaiya vachikittu summa illama boardla en peru eluthiruppanga nu olaritten. As always for me, the driver was late and we found no board... kalanngaathala super bulb. At last I caught hold of the driver and we pushed the van directly to a tea shop and had our morning fresh coffee and tea...

Qualification

As promised in my last blog, i discuss on the qualification needed for software industry in the present world. I disclose at this point of time that it is purely my vision on the industry and nothing to do with pointing against other's opinions. Most of the companies while recruiting freshers only prefer ENGINEERING graduates to any other arts or science grads. I just had to do some sort of analysis before i blogged about it and indeed did some ground work for the same. I contacted some of my college and school friends who are now working in various MNCs as software engineers/programmers/analysts etc... Sunny, My friend, as i said in my previous blog is a Math grad. When a Software company calls for freshers, it is a clear point that they mention "Candidates with excellent academic records and aptitude and attidue are needed". But they still stick to the point that they need only ENGG grads for those posts. If at all they need other grads, they specify the...

Thiruppachi!!!!

Yesterday night show I went to Thiruppachi. Hmmm atleast this time around i didnt feel bored. Definitely this film is better than MADHURA. Hats off to the director for trying something new... oops not the story, but i meant the screenplay. A typical film for Vijay fans. Although i am not a Vijay fan, I admire him. Lots of senti in the film. Looks like ladies will like it for sure. Nothing can come near my God's next movie.... "Chandramukhi".

A Weekend to remember

It was indeed a long weekend for me and a weekend to remember for the rest of my life. I went on a vacation (or rather an extended picnic) to Vizag. My uncle called up my family to join in his house warming and thats all the reason I needed to enjoy a fabulous weekend in and around Vizag. Here are my visits on a daily basis from saturday to Tuesday. Saturday: We went to a place called Simmachalam where Lord Narashimha is famous for, followed by another Sai Seer Mutt. Sunday: It was the house warming day. In the evening we went to Kailasha giri, where lord Shiva and Parvathi's statues are made of white stone and kept in an open place. It is a sort of hangout for the Vizagans and since it is on a hill top, we could have a view of whole Vizag city in the evening with lights. Really worth spending time there and get yourself relaxed. Monday: This was a full day trip planned to go for only 2 places. One is Arukku which is a Hill station (probably like Yercaud, not anywhere ...
